The past few weeks I have been so busy doing work and hanging out with friends and being occupied with stuff that isn't school related that I haven't thought to write. I'll try to play catchup.

Today was a typical Friday. I run the front desk on this day. What that means is I take down all the tours and check guests in as they arrive for the Behind the Seeds Tour. While I am at the front desk I answer our guests questions. The number one question I get asked without fail every 5 minutes is "Where do I get a Fast Pass?" If you don't know what a Fast Pass is then the simple answer is that it is Disney's way of reserving a place in line for you so that you can come back at a later time and not spend up to 50 minutes in the queue for Soarin. The ride Soarin is a simulated glider experience over the state of California. It's a pretty fun ride for the first time but waiting longer than 20 minutes for it is really not the best way to utilize your time in the park. People who know how to do Disney right use the Fast Pass system. I also help people out with other things like pin trading. Just google Disney pin trading. This is probably one of the biggest things that

I do tour desk 4 hours and then have a lunch and do some work in my greenhouse. I only had an hour to do any work in my greenhouse so not much got done today. I had a tour at 3 and it was packed. After the tour I helped my co worker with some composting that needed to be done. Finally I had the rest of the day free. I headed over to Hollywood Studios to meet up with some co workers and we went straight to the drawing studio. They do a step by step walk through on how to draw Disney characters. We drew Tigger today. Gotta love it! After the drawing we walked around to all the characters and got our pictures taken. My favorite had to be when we came to Pinnocio. I asked him if he liked my drawing of Tigger. He shook his head in dissaproval. I was shocked and then he pointed as if to say that we should draw him. Well then he took my coworker by the hand and walked us over to the drawing studio and banged on the door for them to let us in so he could explain that we needed to draw him. We were laughing! It was one of those moments. You just gotta love Disney. Then we took pictures with a few more characters. Somehow I upset Fantasia Mickey, you know, the Sorcerer's Apprentice. Well he started doing his hocus pocus with me like he did with the brooms. I think he was trying to shrink me. Yeah, we just laughed. I really need to spend more time in the parks. Well I know it's short but I'm not one for long posts. Especially since I need to do some shopping. Have a great weekend.
